Single LGBT Parenting
Hogan Lovells, London Thursday 15 September, 6.00pm There are around two million single parents in the UK, making up a quarter of all families with dependent children. While not prevalent in the media, single LGBT parenting is becoming more common. P3, in combination with Hogan Lovells, is proud to present the first single LGBT parenting panel event in the UK, with a panel of single LGBT parents parenting newborns through teenagers. Our panellists have all come to single parenthood in different ways – by choice, by law, and through marriage breakdown. The evening should be enlightening as the panel discuss their stories of the good, the bad and the ugly, covering topics such as childcare, support, coping strategies, work/life balance, and dating.
